Drunken Dragons uses the Konfer Suicide Kings loot system with modifications for our main raiding days (Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday). 10-mans and any other raids will use a standard /roll 1-100 need before greed system.
Basics
Suicide Kings sets up a randomly generated list of all the guild members the first time it is used. This is the main list used. Once an item drops, the loot master opens the item for main spec bids. All people interested in the item whisper 'bid' to the loot master. Suicide Kings then looks at all the people that bid and the winner is determined by list position. The person highest on the list is rewarded the item and then dropped to the bottom of the list. People who are dropped to the bottom work their way back up the list as other people win items.
Offspec and Trash Drops
- If no bids are cast for main spec, bidding is closed and the item goes to open rolls. Anyone interested in the item for offspec rolls 1-100 and the highest roll is taken.
If a BoP epic item drops from trash, the item instantly goes to open rolls. Anyone interested in the item for main spec rolls 1-100 and anyone interested in the item for offspec rolls 101-200 and the highest roller is taken. Suicide Kings is set up for offspec rolls to be 101-200 and knows that a roll of 75 (main spec) is higher than a roll of 132 (offspec). Neither offspec nor trash drop wins will drop someone to the bottom of the list.
Other Items
- Winning a piece of tier or equivalent item will drop players to the bottom of the main list just like a main spec win.
If a piece that drops is BoE, it will be open for main spec bidding only. If no bids are cast on the item, it will go to the guild bank. Orbs and equivalent items will be taken for the guild bank. A separate list will be created for class-specific items (Librams, Sigils, Idols, etc.) and be bid on just like a main spec item. These items will not affect your position on the main list.
Ranks and Bidding
- Different ranks have higher priorities for loot. There are three member ranks:
- Brewmeister (raiders): attend at least 60% of scheduled raids. These people have the highest priority on loot.
Grog Guzzler (casual members): attend less than 60% of scheduled raids. These people can never outbid a Brewmeister even though they may be higher on the list. Light Weight (recruits): new members and are expected to become Brewmeisters after the trial period. These people can never outbid a Brewmeister or a Grog Guzzler even though they may be higher on the list. When invited to the guild, they are put directly on the bottom of the Suicide Kings guild list.
Working with Guests
If a guest is in the raid, the item will be linked in raid warning and all people interested in the item for main spec may roll. If the guest has the highest roll, they win the item. If a guild member has the highest roll, it goes to the guild and the item proceeds to bidding through the Suicide Kings system. At this point, the loot master will consider rolls from the guild as having said "bid". The numbers that were rolled and the highest roller are irrelevant as the guild does not use a roll system to assign loot. All wins are recorded and people who have won an item (guests included) will have their rolls skipped.
Lastly, there will be no complaining about loot. There are no loot complaints. You will not complain about loot. Understand very well that there will be no whining, drama, issues, conflicts, or confrontations about loot. Please do not try and bribe other raiders or ask if you can "buy" the item from them. Do not harass them in whisper or chat asking them to pass on a certain item if it drops. If your main focus is loot, this is not the guild for you. Our goal is to help the guild progress. We want to gear and reward the people who come to raids. This helps the guild the most.
