The Ranks

The Drunken Dragons rank system has 8 ranks total: a silent rank, two alt ranks, a new recruit rank, two member/raider ranks, an officer rank, and the guild leader. Each rank has different benefits and privileges. Here are the ranks in order from lowest to highest:

Slurring Drunk
Silent Rank
Unable to speak in guild chat. Members here are in trouble and will be talking with an officer.

Bar Fly
Alts
Alts and sub-80 mains will be put into this rank. When a sub-80 main reaches the maximum level, they will be promoted to Light Weight.

Carouser
Officer Alts
These characters are able to see officer chat, but have no other officer rights such as guild bank access or abilities to promote, demote, or invite.

Light Weight
Initiates
Recent recruits who are interested in being regular raiders. These players will have the lowest priority on loot and will not have access to guild materials for gear enhancement. However; these players will have higher priority than casual members when raid invites are initiated. This will reflect the initiate’s interest in becoming a regular raider. These players are expected to have very high attendance to raids.

Grog Guzzler
Casual Members
These are full members of the guild and represent our commitment to maintaining a friendly atmosphere which includes friends and family. Those that are brought into the guild because they have a relationship to a member but are not going to be consistent raiders will be promoted to this rank. Casual members will have access to guild materials for enchantments on main-spec PvE equipment.

Brewmeister
Raiders
Consistently attends 2 out of 3 raid events each week. These members will be able to have gear enchanted and gemmed using materials from the bank. In addition, these members will receive priority for invitations to guild events and have the highest priority for loot. They also have access to rare materials from the bank to improve gear.

Tavern Founder
Officers
Officers will be regular raiders who have additional responsibilities to ensure that the guild runs as smoothly as possible.

Drunken Master
Guild Master

Attendance

Throughout the month, attendance is taken on our standard raid days (Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday). Members on the waitlist are marked as if they had attended the raid. If a player on the waitlist is called upon to raid and is not present, they will lose attendance for that raid. At the end of each month, attendance is calculated and members change ranks if needed. Attendance records are then reset and begin again. Members will retain their given rank, and gain all the privileges associated with it, for the duration of the month. The rank is maintained until the end of the month unless the player is demoted for violating guild rules.

If a new recruit (Light Weight) is invited and does not attend any raids before the next rank assigning at the end of the month, they will either remain a Light Weight or be removed from the guild.  This can also depend on when the recruit was invited to the guild.

If you accept a raid invite and do not log on, you will be bumped down one spot in the Suicide Kings main list.

Absences

Excused absences will not count against the total raids attended.  In order to be excused from a raid, a post must be made in the Absences and Extended Leave forum.  Do not simply tell an officer you will not be at a raid.  If there is no post in the forum, the absence will not be excused and will count against your attendance.  This is for occasional events, not for long-term conflicts in schedules.

Regarding Inactive Characters and Alts

All characters with the exception of alts of active mains will be removed after a two-month time period of inactivity (not logging on for 2 months straight). If a level 80 Brewmeister is inactive for one month, they will be demoted to Grog Guzzler because of their attendance records. If the same character remains inactive at Grog Guzzler for another month (two months total inactivity) they are removed from the guild.

If a main is removed from the guild, whether by inactivity, violation of guild rules, or choice, all subsequent alts will also be removed.
